Overview

The UNESCO Technical Assistant supports the C2C Institute in aligning its educational mission with global standards set by UNESCO. This role is central to promoting sustainable development, institutional capacity building, and quality education through strategic guidance, technical support, and collaborative innovation.

Strategic Program Development

  • Guide the integration of UNESCO frameworks (ESD, GCED, Education 2030)

  • Align institutional programs with global education priorities

  • Support strategic planning and policy formulation

Capacity Building & Technical Support

  • Conduct institutional needs assessments
  • Develop and revise curricula in line with sustainable education goals
  • Design and deliver training for educators and staff
  • Establish monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure quality

Localization of International Standards

  • Adapt global education frameworks to local contexts

  • Collaborate with education authorities, academia, and community organizations

  • Ensure culturally relevant and impactful implementation

Partnerships & Knowledge Sharing

  • Foster collaborations with national and international stakeholders

  • Facilitate exchange of best practices, innovations, and research

  • Support resource mobilization and donor engagement
