Upcoming Developments:

As the South Asian Centre for Teacher Development continues to expand its offerings, several additional developments are underway:

  • Course Preparation: Courses specifically designed for teacher trainers are being developed, with a focus on the educational needs and priorities of South Asian countries.
  • Governance and Lecture Panels: The establishment of a board of directors, including South Asian education experts, is in progress. This board will oversee the formation of lecture panels, ensuring high-quality training sessions and workshops led by experienced educators and subject-matter experts.
  • Regional Collaboration: By July, the hostel and training facilities will be fully operational, allowing the Centre to welcome teacher trainers and educational professionals from across the South Asian region. These collaborative programs aim to foster regional cooperation in education and elevate teaching standards.
